As you are likely aware, the National Network for Mental Health (NNMH) is a non profit organization and nationally recognized charity. The organization continues to operate on the generous contributions of donors and through government grants and agreements. At this time, the NNMH is experiencing financial difficulty which could lead us to the very first deficit faced by the organization in the past 10 years. The organization isn't in jeopardy, but rather wants to continue to work at its current level of activity. In the February edition of the NNMH Bulletin we began reaching out to you to request that you consider sending a finacial gift to the National Network for Mental Health. We hope, with your support, to continue to serve the mental health consumer population of Canada in a consistant manner as we go forward. Since that request, and through your very generous contributions, we raised $1043.17! This money will go a long way toward paying for the expenses of producing the NNMH Bulletin this year (translation and IT costs), thank you! Currently each edition of the NNMH Bulletin is translated, distributed through constant contact (we pay based on the number of e-mails we send), and has been written solely by Constance McKnight, National Executive Director, generally during evenings and weekends as a volunteer contribution to the NNMH constituency nationally and around the globe. So thank you again for your generous donations to date and just as importantly, for the messages that were recieved with the donations.
* Financial Contributions of more that $10 will be receipted with a tax receipt. Donations can be made at: http://www.nnmh.ca/support.html or via regular mail to: National Network for Mental Health 55 King Street, Suite 604 St. Catharines, Ontario L2R 3H5
