The National Network for Mental Health (NNMH) will be hosting its 2009/2010 Annual General Meeting on October 5, 2010 at 12:00 noon EST at the Les Suites Hotel Ottawa, 130 Besserer Street, Ottawa.
According to our By-Laws, this year the NNMH is in need of Board of Director representation in: (2) British Columbia/Territories, (1) Ontario, and (1) Member At Large positions.
If you would like to apply for a position on the Board of Directors, please forward your resume and a brief cover letter outlining your reasons for applying and what experience/expertise you feel you could bring to the Board of Directors. We would particularly welcome nominees with expertise in law, finance, human resources and or fundraising. Your application will be posted to the NNMH website prior to the Annual General Meeting for the purpose of informing the membership about their choice in candidates for the position of Board Director. Applications can be submitted either by postal mail or email and must be received no later than 4:30 p.m. EST, August 31, 2010.
The Annual Report and Audited financial statements will be available at the AGM and as well for review immediately following the meeting. If you would like a copy of these documents, please contact the NNMH Head Office at 1-888-406-4663 or at info@nnmh.ca.
All members are invited to attend the AGM either in person or via teleconference/web conference, however, please note the NNMH is not in a position to offer subsidy for attendance in person.
