Applicants for the NNMH board of directors must be a member in good standing for a period of 30 days or more, have a lived experience of mental health issues, have a familiarity with mental health issues, and a knowledge of mental health recovery philosophy. We are also seeking at this time applicants who have a background in either law, financial management, human resources, or fundraising. One must be willing to make a commitment to the board for a two year term and be able to provide from 4-6 hours each month in order to attend board as well as committee meetings.
If you would like to apply for a position on the NNMH Board of Directors, please forward your resume and a brief cover letter outlining your reasons for applying and what experience/expertise you feel you could bring to the Board of Directors. Applications can be submitted either by postal mail or email and must be received no later than 4:30 p.m. EST, August 31, 2010.
